My journey started with the heavy lifting—administering IBM Domino and OS/2—and evolved into a deep dive across Windows, Linux, and web technologies. I’ve never lost that 'insatiable curiosity.' Core Infrastructure: The heart of this system—including the n8n engine, a PostgreSQL database, and a local Llama 3 LLM—runs entirely in Docker containers on my own private hardware. For performance reasons, I decided to switch the LLM to Google's Gemini 2.5 flash model temporarily until I upgrade my local hardware.
External Integration: To ensure high availability and seamless communication, I integrate industry-standard APIs. A Cloudflare Tunnel provides a secure gateway, while Slack and Mailgun handle real-time alerting and outbound communication.
